Marie McFalls recently received her A.AS. degree in Fashion Design from the New School in May 2023. Previously, she graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania in 2019 with a B.A. in the History of Art. Using her fascination with visual culture and familiarity with multiple artistic mediums, she aims to create treasured garments that elicit emotional connections and multivalent experiences around clothing.
She has worked for acclaimed brands such as Carolina Herrera, AREA, and Gabriela Hearst, as well as conducted research with Argentine-based NGO Hecho x Nosotros. These experiences have given her a strong background in concept design, fabric & materials, and circular design practices.
